The Board of the Georgia Master Gardeners Association would like to extend a most grateful congratulations to the Augusta Master Gardeners Association for pulling off a great 2021 Annual Conference!

Melissa Mattee-Murphy, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent in Fulton County, was chosen as the recipient of the 2021 Award of Excellence presented by the Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA).

Once again, GMGA is offering the Award of Excellence in Consumer Horticulture. Applications will be accepted through September 3, 2021.

The project is 200 square feet in area, with 100 native plants. It is the result of a partnership with The Victory Home Inc. and Headwaters Master Gardeners.

The film is about Vertical Harvest, an ambitious small business located in Jackson Hole, WY, that combines high-tech local food production and meaningful employment for people with disabilities.

Timothy Daly, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent in Gwinnett County, was chosen as the recipient of the 2020 Award of Excellence presented by the Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA).
