Clarke County

A new Extension Office is being built for Athens-Clarke County. All of the gardens at the old location need to be moved. For the new garden to exist, deer fencing will need to be installed. Clarke County was awarded $500 to be applied toward the total amount required for the project.

Chatham County

Establish a Monarch Larvae Monitor Project by planting butterfly weed and native nectar plants in the Sparrow Field Pollinator Garden, Skidaway Landings Audubon.

Extension office - Establish a demonstration garden for turf grasses at the extension office. Our request is to cover signage and edging for the project.

Rose Garden at Smith-Gilbert Gardens - Funds for ten new roses which are resistant to virus. This $300 grant is awaiting additional documentation.

Midway Christian Covenant School Garden. Soil for raised beds that have to be moved. Local organization is building and rebuilding the raised beds.

Douglas County

Harvester Christian Academy: Will build eight 4x4 raised beds, fill with soil and instruct students to plant sweet potatoes for summer month growth.
