The project started in October of 2017 at Lost Plantation Golf Club in Rincon, Ga. It is 200 square feet in area, with 100 native plants, bordered by an additional wildflower garden on two sides. The City of Rincon has received $340 from GMGA towards this project. A Brochure was developed and a Native Pollinator Habitat Sign was finished and placed at a prominent spot. The brochure provides an overview of Pollinator Gardens and the critical need to ensure both native plant and pollinator numbers increase. The sign has a pocket for the tri-fold brochure that explains the value of pollinator gardens to our community and can be used as a teaching tool at our schools.
