ATHENS: Friends First Friday - Native Plants and Connect-to-Protect

Please make your reservation by noon, Friday, Sept. 27, 2019. $12 Non Members, $10 Members. For several years Heather Alley, Conservation Horticulturist, has been developing the Mimsie Lanier Center for Native Plant Studies and its collections of both rare and common Georgia native plants. Plants grown in the center are planted in Connect-to-Protect gardens throughout the state, habitat restorations, and safeguarding sites on public land. Specially selected plants grown at the center are sold in the gift shop and at annual fall native plant sales. Join us to learn more about the Mimsie Lanier Center and the upcoming plant sale.
