Lumpkin County Parks and Rec, 365 Riley Road, Dahlonega. Learn about the skills needed and benefits of apiculture, better known as beekeeping. Andy Marcus from the Amicalola Beekeeping Association will share tips and outline steps beekeepers follow throughout the year. If you are thinking of keeping your own hives, this will be a great overview and introduction to local resources. As gardeners it will extend our knowledge of creating good habitats for our little buzzy friends. The program is free and open to the public.
