Dr. Allan Armitage, renowned horticulturist, will be discussing his new book, The Common-Sense Gardener, which offers hands-on gardening with wisdom, humor and no-nonsense advice. He will have copies of his book with him that he will be happy to autograph.Dr. Armitage is an Emeritus Professor of Horticulture at the University of Georgia (retired 2014) and is well known as a writer, speaker and researcher throughout the world. He has written over 70 academic papers and 500 industry papers. He has also written16 books that serve as classroom texts, reference books, and gardeners’ companions.
