UGA Extension Henry County Office located at 97 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, GA 30252. Become one of Georgia’s First Detectors and help fight the spread of invasive species in our beautiful state. Professional speakers from the University of Georgia, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Georgia Forestry Commission, and others will discuss topics related to the identification, management, reporting and tracking of invasive insects, plants and diseases as well as other programs in place to combat the spread of invasive species in Georgia. The program will be held on. There is no charge but registration is required. Please register early since there is limited space. Current, active Master Gardeners receive Advanced Training credit for attending this training. AT credit is entered in MGLOG by the State Program Office.
