Henry County Extension Office, 97 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, GA. Pruning is the practice of cutting away certain parts of a plant - usually branches, stems, or buds - to help it grow better. The main idea is to remove what the plant doesn't need so it can focus its energy on healthy growth. Timothy Daly the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent for the Henry County Extension Office will discuss the basics of pruning and answer any questions that may arise. No cost and no registration needed. tdaly@uga.edu; 770-288-8421
