The sale will be in the covered arena of the Jason T. Harper Event Center, 99 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, and so will proceed rain or shine. The plants are grown by the Master Gardeners and are reasonably priced. The selection will include annual and perennial flowers, house plants, vegetables, herbs, and shrubs. There will also be a “yard sale” of gently used garden merchandise. The terms will be cash or check. Patrons are encouraged to bring totes or wagons to facilitate their shopping. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. The funds raised are used for community educational efforts including the funding of a college scholarship for a Henry County High School senior pursuing a degree in an area of Agriscience.
