ONLINE: Turf Diseases in Georgia

In this session Lisa Klein with UGA Extension Gwinnett will discuss common diseases in fescue, zoysia, and Bermuda and to a lesser extent, centipede and St. Augustine. Learn how climate factors influence disease cycles, and gain confidence using science-based methods for identifying diseases and developing accurate treatment plans. Explore Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, evaluate how well cultural controls work, and learn how healthy soil supports a strong, resilient canopy. Attendance qualifies for one credit hour of continuing education (CEU) toward your Georgia Department of Agriculture Pesticide License in Category 24 (Ornamental and Turf Pest Control) as well as master gardener continuing education credit. Click here to register or send us an email.
