The Bridge, 225 Willow Bend Road in Peachtree City. Dr. Bethany Harris, director of the Center for Urban Agriculture for The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, will present a program on “Beneficial Insects and How to Battle Insect Pests”. A get-acquainted session will begin at 9:30 am, and a business meeting at 11 am. FMGA is a non-profit community group and welcomes all interested in gardening to attend free monthly presentations. The group will hold a plant sale on April 18 at the Fayette County offices parking area on Stonewall St. with profits funding horticultural grants for non-profit organizations and schools in Fayette County and for college students studying horticulture.
