The annual Great Backyard Bird Count is February 14-17.  You can count birds from the warmth of our building as you look out our many windows, or you can sit outside and count.  The birds love our Wright Center woods and bird feeders. The instructions on the website www.birdcount.org are to:  Create a free GBBC account. Count birds for at least 15 minutes for one of more days of GBBC. Enter your results in the GBBC website. Wright Environmental Education Center, 2661 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta 30062. Park in the parking lot of Chestnut Ridge Christian Church (2663 Johnson Ferry Road) at the intersection of Post Oak Tritt Road and Johnson Ferry Road.  Enter from Post Oak Tritt Road.
